PONTOSProduct development today requires a good understanding of dynamical component behavior for simulation verification, vibration analysis or measurement of relative movement.

PONTOS delivers the dynamic, accurate and synchronized position of an unlimited number of markers. The displacement of the markers can be determined, graphically visualized or exported by capturing images at different load or movement situations. Rigid body movement, object deformation or dynamic behavior of the object under load can be defined and evaluated.

PONTOS is based on GOM's proven two camera technology. The image acquisition uses flexible triggering techniques and is linked to the load situation, including recording of analog signals. The rugged and transportable set up and the flexible selection of measuring areas deliver accurate position, movement and deformation values for industrial applications, also at difficult ambient conditions.

The combination of PONTOS with TRITOP photogrammetry allows the measurement of an unlimited number of markers even on large objects. The displacement of the measuring points is determined in a predefined coordinate system, features (like holes and marker lines) can be defined and the measured points can be compared to CAD data.
